Biorama

Biorama is an educational digital game that portrays Brazilian biomes. This project, designed and developed by me, Pedro Mendes, is part of the final paper of my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at UFF in Rio das Ostras.

The game has a 2D platform style, and the objective of the game is to travel with the character across the map collecting resources and unlocking new knowledge in the book. The game ends when all knowledge is unlocked.

The game has 6 maps, 1 map for each Brazilian biome, and each biome has its own resource to be collected. These resources are called Elementary Fragments, and have a visual relationship with the biome. Each map has 7 resources to be collected, and each animal requires 3 resources from its respective biome to be unlocked. The player can only advance to the next biome after unlocking all animals in the current biome.
